Vi arbetar båda med förvandlingar och kontraster. I denna installation låter vi en okänd värld existera sida vid sida med stadens skyltfönster.

Vi båda arbetar med kroppen, här i ett samarbete med berättelserna och omsorgen som finns i den. Kroppar som har levt och som har ärr efter livet. Kroppar som inte är självkritiska.

Konstnärsduon presenterar ett projekt som ännu inte är utfört.

Verket är ett digitalt performance om digital nedbrytning och visuell amnesi, som spelas upp på en gammal IBM-skärm.

En kontrastering av youtubefenomen, av samtida ritualer i konsumtionskulturen.

Ingen kan förneka att hasch är farligt och oftast skadligt. Haschinnehav är ett brott som leder till straff.

Jag arbetar ofta kring ämnen som rör kroppen och kroppar som beter sig på ett oroväckande sätt. Jag vill få fram en känsla av det andra – det osannolika och absurda.

I Peepshow presenterar Sofie Karp och Jacob Hurtig starten på ett gemensamt projekt. Projektet berör frågor om struktur och mönster utanför vår uppfattningsförmåga.

Installationen som visas i Peepshow är en utveckling av ett pågående illustrationsprojekt; En ständigt växande samling korta berättelser, alla i form av omslag till diverse publikationer.

Vi är glada att i Peepshow visa videon 67 bows av den israeliske konstnären Nira Pereg.
67 bows visades nyligen i Black Box, Hirshhorn Museum (Washington, USA).

Och Gud sade: Varde ljus; och det vart ljus. Och Gud såg att ljuset var gott; och Gud skilde ljuset från mörkret. Och Gud kallade ljuset dag, och mörkret kallade han natt.

Återanvänt material som ger upphov till, i det här fallet, miniinstallationer.

The project shown in Peepshow is called NOTICE and consists of mobile photographs of notices mounted on the inside of doors.

Johanna Engström is an artist studying her final year of textile art at HDK-Valand.

”The colour blue inspires me and gives me a sense of peace. Blue reminds me of the sea and the brave people who every day crosses the sea for Europe in search of a secure homeland.

“Transcending the body is a study of a queer body in relation to digitality, and the possibility of creating one's own body virtually.

Nature is our home, our source and our living room. The soil, the trees, the shadows. The light and the smell. The roots. The pine needles. The leaves, the moisture.

With a confrontational but humorous approach to photography Jessica Ekström explores the difference between being an observer and the observed one.

”The idea for this project was born by accident. A bisexual, 59 year old man contacted me to be photographed naked. At first, I was very doubtful.

Marcus Reistad (b. 1991 in Gjøvik) is currently based in Gothenburg where he is studying a Bachelor in Fine Art at HDK-Valand.

Hello! Welcome to my micro exhibition in the peepshow at Galleri 54.

Experiences are laid out as a jigsaw, and emotions form in those patterns that our time affirms. I search backwards in time in order to write a women’s history for posterity.

Moa Märta Markgren is in her second year of her bachelor in design at HDK-Valand in Gothenburg.

Two concepts permanently present in our lives. Where is the limit in between them? 
This work is a graphic exploration of the thin line that separates or merges them.
